We came home to this...
And this...
So exciting! We have been on quite the rollar coaster ride. And from what we've heard we should have footings poured tomorrow.
(Yes, my pictures show frost, I had to take them the next morning since it was already dark when we got home.)

Electricity...the modern day luxury
We have electricity! Webster Electric set two poles today. Things are finally starting to come together!
Also our builder brought his dirt moving equipment over today so he can start work on our driveway tomorrow!

Third Builder's the Charm
Lucky builder number three has been awesome! Chad communicated with him through phone for over a month but in that time we were able to search through a huge box of his plans until we found one we liked. Our hopes were to have a walkout basement but due to the lack of slope on our land we decided against it. We took a plan that we liked for a walkout and modified it to 4 bedrooms 2.5 baths 2300 square feet ranch style.

Closing Day
We spent last weekend and every evening after work packing and moving. Where are we moving you ask? After much discussion we decided that the best place would be...my parents basement. We have our own kitchen, bathroom, living room, and 2 bedrooms much like our "old" house. But financially we will be saving about $1000 a month and we will be right there to see everything happening with our new house.

And There's an Offer
We have an offer on our house! The first and only offer but it's an offer nonetheless!
We discussed it and we will be accepting their offer as long as the inspection goes smoothly.

House For Sale
We signed a contract with a Real Estate agent today! I'm excited and nervous plus I'll always have to make sure Adelynn's toys are picked up and the dishes put away before I walk out the door. Is it worth it? I'm not sure, ask me again once we've sold "Our Little House on Mill Street".
